Do you feel like your mind is constantly racing with intrusive thoughts that you just can’t shake? Maybe you’re struggling with obsessive worries about contamination, or perhaps your thoughts feel so disturbing that you’re questioning your very sense of self. It’s exhausting and isolating, and it can feel like you’re trapped in a battle against your own mind.
You might find yourself avoiding situations where these thoughts could be triggered, or spending hours researching and diagnosing yourself, only to end up feeling more confused and lost. Perhaps you’ve tried talk therapy, or other strategies with limited success, and now you’re wondering if there’s anything left that can help.
I get it, and I can help
I get it. I’ve been there, and I know how overwhelming it can be. As someone who navigates anxiety and OCD in my own life, I understand the intense pain and confusion these thoughts can cause. But I also know that you’re not alone in this, and there is a way forward.
My Therapy Approach That Gently Guides You Through Your Fears with Compassion
In our work together, I’m not here to tell you what to do or how to feel. Instead, we’ll collaborate to create a plan that’s tailored to your unique needs and goals. My approach is grounded in compassion and understanding—I’m here to help you gently face your fears in a way that’s loving and supportive. You can share anything with me, no matter how dark or troubling it may seem. This is a safe space where you won’t be judged.
You don’t have to eliminate anxiety or OCD to live a meaningful life. While that might not be what you want to hear, it’s what I’ve found to be most realistic and empowering. We’ll work on reducing the impact these thoughts have on your life, so you can start engaging more fully with the things that truly matter to you.
Our sessions will be guided by your values and the life you want to create. We’ll start with education—helping you understand how your brain works—and then move on to developing skills for sitting with discomfort and taking meaningful steps towards how you want to be showing up in your life. It’s not just about reducing symptoms; it’s about living a life that feels fulfilling and true to who you are, even with anxiety and OCD along for the ride.
If you’re ready to break free from the grip of obsessive thoughts and worries, and start living the life you’ve been longing for, I’m here to walk that path with you. Together, we can create a life that’s filled with joy, purpose, and freedom.
