Who This Group Is For

This Group Isn’t a Substitute for Therapy

Because emetophobia can be complex and deeply rooted, this group is best used as a supplement to therapy, not a replacement.

Many members are in therapy or have previously worked with a therapist. If you’re new to treatment or unsure whether this is the right starting point, we can talk more during your intake session.

Meet the Group Facilitator

I'm Jenny Matthews, licensed mental health therapist and founder of State of Mind Therapy. I specialize in helping women with anxiety, OCD, and phobias—including emetophobia—reclaim their freedom and start living fully again.

In this group, I act as a facilitator—guiding, offering evidence-based insights when needed, and holding the space so members can support one another in meaningful ways.

This group is something truly special, and it’s an honor to be a part of it. If it feels like the right next step for you, I’d be so glad to welcome you in.
